I am a lot like Jeff Bezos

Jeff Bezos and I have a lot in common.

Bezos is the billionaire founder of Amazon who is known as the world’s richest man. In addition, he will be traveling into space this summer, and he is recognized for and wide for his amazing accomplishments.

So, as you can see, we are very similar.

Frankly, it’s a little eerie, and I am starting to wonder if we are somehow related. I will explain it here with these examples that show how we seem to be living pretty much the same life:

Jeff Bezos is planning to travel into space this summer. His trip will be on a rocket ship of some sort that he owns. I don’t really understand how it works.

I am planning to travel into Iowa this summer. My trip will take place in a car that I own. I don’t really understand how it works.

Bezos will see lots of amazing scenery on his trip, but it will be lonely out in space.

I will see a lot of amazing scenery on my trip, and I am sure it will be lonely in Iowa. Luckily, my mom will be traveling with me. I don’t think she will be traveling with Jeff Bezos.

The trip into space will offer an amazing view of the moon and the cosmos.

The trip into Iowa will offer an amazing opportunity to eat lots of moon pies and cosmic brownies when I stop at gas stations for food. I think my trip sounds much better, partially because there will be more opportunities for rest stops and junk food. If I were Jeff, I would make sure I go to the bathroom right before I get into that rocket, or I would ask for bathroom breaks. Do rockets even have restrooms?

Jeff Bezos owns The Washington Post, which is considered outstanding in the field of national newspapers.

Jeff Bezos launched his first business when he was in high school, as he created an educational summer camp for children ages 9-12.

I had my own business when I was in junior high school when I cut grass for money. So, I guess I was a little ahead of him there.

Before launching his own business, Jeff Bezos worked at McDonald’s where he likely made Egg McMuffins.

Before launching my grass cutting business, I worked at a farm where I gathered eggs.

Jeff Bezos founded Amazon in his garage.

I found a maze of old wires in my garage.

Taxes – Oh, wait, it looks like I may actually pay higher taxes according to recent news reports. I guess we aren’t so similar in that way.

Jeff Bezos owns and loves Whole Foods.

I own and love hole foods, which is what I like to call doughnuts and bagels.

Jeff Bezos owns a $65 million private jet that he stores in an airport hangar. You never know when you are going to need a private jet after all.

I have nearly 65 million hangers I that I store in my closet. How did I get so many?

Jeff Bezos has everything he could ever ask for.

I have a wonderful family, great friends and fun things to do like writing. I have everything I could ever ask for.
