Winter has been tough for many of us already, and parts of the U.S. are now somehow being hit by a Bomb Cyclone, whatever that is.

I  actually like winter at times, but there are certain aspects of the cold weather that I loathe.

The worst aspects are certainly the dangers caused by the frigid temperatures, slippery snow and these terrible storms. In addition, though, there are several other items that cause numerous annoyances for our judges, so we have put together the Top 5 Winter Annoyances (not counting the cold).

Top Five Problems with Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer – And they have nothing to do with the nose

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer is cherished holiday favorite, but the song has several problems that have nothing to do with the nose.

Frankly, the shiny red nose seems plausible to me. If deep sea creatures and fireflies have parts that light up, why couldn’t a reindeer?

Top 5 Ways The Pets Help With Cleaning The House

While cleaning the house today, we received quite a bit of assistance from the dog and cat.

Whether they were confused about why we were home during the day or they were concerned that the cleaning was not up to their high standards, they were an ever-present presence presiding over the work.

These days, I often see people sitting.

I don’t know how it has come down to this, but more and more people are often inclined to be reclined.

Sitting has always been a part of our lives, but experts and armchair quarterbacks agree that it has become more popular due to advances in sitting technology. In order to examine these advances and to assist you with your sitting, our judges have set before you the Top 5 Chairs.

Top Five Answers to ‘How are You?’

Often when I walk by people I know and say “Hello,” they say something like, “How are you?”, “How ya doing?” or “You have something in your teeth.”

I am never sure if “How are you?” means the same thing as “Hello” in this context or not, so I usually say “I’m good. How are you?” They, of course, usually don’t reply because they are too far away from me by then or because they didn’t want to have a whole conversation with me in the first place.

The fact is, though, that they are the ones who asked the question, so I feel it is my duty to reply. But while my answer is always “I’m good. How are you?” there are plenty of other responses I would prefer to give. Continue reading “Top Five Answers to ‘How are You?’” →

I apologize but nothing very interesting has happened to me recently and my work on the Top Five Kirks is stuck at a standstill. Our judges are divided over this controversial topic due to a cornucopia outstanding Kirks. Who should be No. 1?

Top 5 Things To Do When Bunch Of Teenage Girls Are Getting Ready At Your House For A Big Dance

Over the weekend, there was a big dance at the local high school, so my stepdaughter and a few of her friends got ready for the evening at our house.

On these occasions, parents have to deal with shoes covering the floors, high school students walking around everywhere, and far too much music, yelling, and music that sounds like yelling.
