Unexpected consequences of Thanos’ plan to wipe out half of the universe

What would really happen if the Thanos character in the Avengers movie succeeded in his plan to wipe out half of the universe?

If you haven’t seen the movie after all of these months, then I’m betting you won’t care that I am about to talk about spoilers here. If you do care about spoilers, you should stop here and read several of my other posts about important topics such as toasters, toes or every kiss beginning with the letter k.

An anonymous op-ed from the resistance inside of Nick’s House

As a low-level official in Nick’s House, I have decided to come forward to let you know that there is an active resistance going on behind the scenes.

We too have been disturbed by the hair-raising tails of Nick’s activities and we are working diligently to paws his actions in order to keep the house purring along smoothly.

For example, if Nick leaves papers on a table and I am worried that those documents may pose a threat, I will knock them to the floor. I have also been known to spill drinks on papers in times of emergency, and have even knocked plants on them if the situation warranted it. Apple became the first publicly traded company in the U.S. to be valued at $1 trillion or more last week, which means it’s time to get your next goal done, Apple and finally purchase my blog.

I have been hesitant to sell the blog, but after I read delicious news last week that Apple’s stock rose past $207.04 per share, which pushed the stock value to more than $1 trillion, I feel that now may be the right time. Continue reading “Top 5 reasons Apple should buy my blog”

Planning is key for your career, personal goals and when you lift the dryer over your head

I picked up some good advice in an unexpected place the other evening.

“Make a plan for what you are going to do before it happens,” was the advice from my friend, Roy The Umpire.

Roy is a very wise man who shares the same middle name as several significant historical figures. I can only assume that he has a family connection to Alexander The Great, Attila The Hun and Dog The Bounty Hunter.
